OH HELLO.

DIDN’T SEE YOU COME IN.

My name is Burke di Piazza. And I am a copywriter.

Let's rewind. I was first acquainted with my imagination at the age of 2. Back when the probability of a shark lurking beneath the carpeting was too high to ignore.

I was potty trained at 3, making for a good excuse to pick up reading as a hobby. Second to the act of eating Play-Doh, of course.

I grew up. Turned 12. Started shooting movies with my younger brother and cousin. One thing led to another, and the opportunity to feature our film at the family reunion presented itself. We took it.

I grew even older. I was 18. Toured Michigan and its neighboring states as the singer and guitarist of a pop-punk band. Ironically enough, music became a way of life I couldn’t afford to live on. It was time to find a job.

At the age of 22, I traded in my guitar picks for pocket squares. Concert halls for conference rooms. And went from creating media, to planning it.

But my passion for creating things burned deep and bright, lighting the way to a job that didn’t feel so much like a job at all. I had become a copywriter. Look Ma, I made it!
