ACTIVATION

A massive wheel slowly turned on a fixed base. Inside, a natural landscape unfolded—a looping hiking trail that allowed guests to hike endlessly.

Brought to life by Merrell, Wander Wheel was a sculptural installation designed to bring the outdoors to the heart of the city. As part of our mission to make nature more accessible, we transformed an urban space into an immersive hiking experience. Visitors stepped inside and found themselves trekking through the blooming hills of California, the snowy passes of Switzerland, the dramatic landscapes of Brazil, and the sunbaked plains of the Outback—all without leaving New York City.
